Title: How Buffalo copes with losing
Post by: 4stringer77 on October 31, 2016, 12:17:25 PM
Ok Scott, was it you? At least these fans can find something to laugh about when their team has no chance against the Patriots.

At least Brady was amused, especially by the official kicking it off the field rather than picking it up. Evidently it had "Brady" written on it.

As one commentator put it "...that's a good idea. I make it a rule not to pick up any random used sex toys I find laying around."

Links via Dave Barry's blog. Possibly NSFW images.

Yes, it had Brady's name (http://deadspin.com/is-this-the-dildo-thrown-onto-the-field-yesterday-by-a-1788407737)

And another message (http://deadspin.com/five-year-old-bills-fans-birthday-cake-has-a-message-fo-1788413190)

It probably felt pretty good sneaking it in, I wonder if the NFL is going to instigate body cavity searches as a result.  :-*

Buffalo can be forgiven for such depravity after loosing four Super Bowls in a row.

You never see that in baseball. They tried it once and everybody thought Joe Buck fell out of the broadcast booth.

I'm sure you really meant to say Tim McCarver! (http://mccarver.bobfinnan.com/tim.htm)

As a lifelong Met fan, I am well acquainted with McCarver's incessant bloviating, but even he doesn't challenge the sheer awfulness that is Joe Buck. I doubt there is one of these for McCarver:

pfffft...clearly not Brady's dildo as it appears to be fully inflated and erect.

My hatred of Tim McCarver is greater than the combined hatred of the 40K people who like that page.

Well, we all have our boogeymen. I suppose now that you've let the cat out of the bag, you can expect Uwe to start posting McCarver spam. Get ready.

I doubt it. He'd get dazed and confused listening to McCarver while trying to find something to post.

An endorsement from Joe Buck, the second worst? Hard to top that for sheer awfulness.

Tim did inspire me to hit the mute button in record time, I'll grant him that much.

If it weren't for head case Steve Carlton, McCarver's career as a player would have been over far sooner and maybe he would have faded away, never to be heard from again. If only.

I guess I should consider myself lucky that the Mets probably have the best all-around broadcast team at this point in time. Unfortunately, they get tossed out as soon as the postseason hits and the network idiots come on duty.

Ever the iconoclast, I rather like Joe Buck.

But I also am a Led Zep and Deep Purple fan, so perhaps I may be forgiven.

....

There's a Joe Buck fan club (https://www.facebook.com/pages/I-hate-Joe-Buck-Fan-Club/272701844892) for you on FB. I carelessly left a couple of words out of the title.  :vader:
