Title: Grounding? Buzzing noise out of USA GL JAZZ
Post by: copacetic on April 24, 2016, 01:32:21 PM
Just recently got a new USA Geddy Lee Jazz trading in some unused old amps. Pretty nice bass all around, however it has some high frequency noise or something. However when I touch the chromed metal control plate it stops. Before going in and investigating, (which seems easy enough on the Jazz)
Is there anything I should look for that might be obvious? To me it seems like a grounding issue. I did not recall the noise when I tried it out in the shop.

Yeah, checking the ground wiring should be easy.

That is DEFINITELY grounding.
