Wow, a fairly priced instrument on craigslist.   Dunno if any Texans here but that is a good deal for a Vic Std even without a case ( if there's no hidden issues).

Those were killer sounding basses...never cared for the "Artist" , but the Standard kicked butt...

Considering that the flight case is probably included and that the days when Victory Standards sold below USD 500 are a decade or so gone, that is a fair price.

And I agree, those basses rocked.

Great necks on these things. I have a Standard and an Artist, very different animals. They both rock.

Flattened where it should be round. Pretty "modern style" actually, but comfortable and accessible. They could probably do that and still not sacrifice stability due to the metal rods they put in in addition to the truss rod.
