Title: Double entendre, anyone?

Taste the bush! (http://fanbuzz.rare.us/story/this-wine-commercial-got-banned-because-this-elegant-woman-said-this-tasty-phrase/)

Great ad. And yes, I'd like to.  :)

Red bush too - yummy! Lady Marmalade.

That said, bushes have largely - and lamentably so - become extinct in recent times. But I'm happy to hear that Australia seems to protect downunder foliage.

That concept of double entendres will always remain alien to me. Not a German thing at all.

So you just have a natural propensity or are you just hell bent on practicing to catch up to the Anglos?

It's not so much the phrase as it is the sly glance moving downwards before picking up the glass. Might as well say "nudge, nudge, wink, wink."

I found it all very pleasant. So did my colleagues here. It was good fun and less sexist than most fashion or luxury goods advertising.

"Product placement" really sums it up though.

That reminds me, I need to go put away my hedge trimmer for the winter.  ;)

the bass player of a certain stadium NWOBM bad demands a small round table stage left with a checked tablecloth for his drinks to sit on. His bass tech gets really wound up by being refered to as a Bistro-tech!
