The seller has this 1972 EB-4L listed as an EB-0............

Looks to be in great shape, hand rest missing & TRC might have been changed. Strong cherry color, priced right. Anybody need one? This is a bargain compared to what I bought mine for years back. Tilt-O-Matic only available on first year models!!

Nice. Even though it's less than you paid, not sure I'd call it a bargain. More like back down to earth.

Looks to be in great shape. What is that pickup?

A strange contraption, but with a very pure and sweet sound, just don't expect mudbucker type honking and hollering, this thing sounds more like a DiMarzio One. Oh, and no bending strings either, the magnetic field is so narrow, the tone almost fades immediately.
It didn't save the long scale EBs from extinction. As the Grabber came out only shortly after and was similarly priced, it was clear where the customers would go.

Thanks for the heads-up, I bought it.

You got a very reasonable price on that - congrats.

Thanks!

Nice score! :toast:

Congrats! Hope it works for you.

Congrats! When I was watching for one, you didn't see many cherry basses that weren't faded, almost to walnut. This one is nice! Enjoy!

P.S........... I had mentioned that the engraved TRC was changed. Mine is blank also. After a quick surf, I didn't see any with an engraved TRC.
