Yoko Ono once said that sawing things in half is an art form.
She also said she could sing.
Even a brick can fly, albeit only until it hits the ground... ;)

Well, as the man said as he passed the 20th floor after jumping off the 60th floor, "Everything is fine so far."
Only the sudden stop is fatal, usually...

But Keith Maniac could put bricks to sleep.
Scott's in Germany?! :o
He saw to it that she would live to regret it.
More drama in Germany (http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2015/06/19/Police-Reported-lifeless-body-was-Papa-Smurf-balloon/5221434729467/)
Shucks...I would have expected a story like that out of Texas.
Wonder what would happen if I got a bunch of those balloons, put them in a bus with prison markings on it, and parked it outside a Wal-Mart in Texas?
A guy I used to work with did something like this during his divorce- he started chopping everything he could get his hands on, in half with a chain-saw. I think he's still making payments on a bunch of the stuff he destroyed...

Never underestimate the krauts, they can even show humor (if forced). It now turns out that this was a spoof set off by the German Bar Association (i.e. their online arm where you can select attorneys for certain assignments) to get people to think about getting legal advice in separation scenarios early on!
https://anwaltauskunft.de/magazin/gesellschaft/panorama/1046/wir-sind-martin-g/
They admitted as much now: "We are Martin G." (the man with the saw). They are extremely pleased how quickly it went viral. The halved items do exist however and are sold on ebay, proceeds will go to charity.
Who'd have thought that a German Bar Association publicity stunt would end up here in this forum of fora? Global village alright.
More to the point, how did our very own resident German lawyer not have anything to do with it?
I'm a member, but I'm innocent!
That is a thing Germans always tend to say in the aftermath.
right before they get wisked off towork for either the Yanks or the Russians. ;)

You weren't even following orders..... :P
Somewhat like East-enders saying "Weren't me Guv...!"

Look, middle aged German women can be downright frightenning..... take it from 16 y/o me who, while travelling alone, had the misfortune of piquing the interest of the 6'+ blonde Bavarian security person in Munich airport.

Ah, wimmin! They will quarrel about any crap.
I found this more moving, they have taken his beloved Panther away!
http://www.thelocal.de/galleries/news/second-world-war-weapons-haul-recovered-from-cellar/3
(http://www.thelocal.de/userdata/galleries/4545/pantherfront.jpg)
And not only did the klutzes damage his Panther but also his house/villa in the process! What kind of country do I live in that you can no longer own a little Panzerkampfwagen V at the side?
Seriously, he has owned that tank since the seventies, salvaged it from a Brit scrapyard, it is no longer armed, it stayed in a special garage in his cellar most of the time, he drove around with it once in a particular heavy winter in the mid-seventies when he used the Panther to pull out some truck stuck in a snow drift ... and now the prosecutors are going hypher as if they had found some secret arsenal. :o
You know, it is totally not illegal to own a tank in the US (as long as not armed), and I think hwere in Canada too, not sure becaise it's not something I need to know. I learned that from a youtube video - 10 things you thought were illegal but aren't - so it's got to be true.
It used to be legal in Germany if it was sans working gun, but the laws changed a few years ago that you also need to remove the armor which he didn't do (had not heard of), hence all the excitement. The little Panther seems to be in pretty good shape.
Anyway, this is a historic piece by now and I doubt that 70 year old tanks play a large role in today's terrorist threat scenarios.
