Title: Get your wallets out
Post by: Dave W on March 14, 2015, 02:08:57 PM
Some dreamer has started an indiegogo campaign to buy Gibson, return it to Kalamazoo and run it the right way -- as a privately owned boutique company. Never mind that the company isn't for sale.

As you can see, he's a tiny bit short of his fundraising goal.  ;D

He's up to $200 now. Another $20 and he'll be at 1/100,000th of his goal.

That's pretty funny.

I still say Gibson should have bought Hamer and made it their custom shop. They were building better electrics and also Guild acoustics there. Would have been a great fit. Oh well.

Wonder how many $Gazillions$ would sway Henry ?

If ego is the motivation, the money won't sway him.

Right. He seems to see himself as another Steve Jobs.
