Title: NAD SWR Basic Black and Basic 2-Way
Post by: pjm on September 23, 2014, 10:13:25 PM
I know people here dig pure tubey goodness ( as I do) but these two items came up for sale locally for a good price so I snagged them.
The Basic Black has a tube pre, both boxes loaded with 15"  this rig can get plenty loud! enough to annoy band mates.
I think my GK 800RB sounds cleaner than the Basic Black. Thing I like about this rig is no coloration , pure tone of your instrument and your fingers, no where to hide. The old Squier with flats sound mighty good.

Nice, love 15s.

Thing I like about this rig is no coloration , pure tone of your instrument and your fingers

That's been my experience with SWR.
