I'm a little further along, and took a couple of quick pics this afternoon - sorry about their poor quality... I plan to take it apart and paint it seafoam green, with auto grade laquer in the next week or two - then I'll post some more pics after it's all back together... Here it is *for now*:

Anxious to see this one :)
Are you going to leave the black as a primer? That's what I did on my Goth when I refinished it. Just sanded it down a little bit and started painting from there.

Yeah, it should look pretty nice in seafoam green - I was pleasantly surprised at how good it looks in flat black... My band is playing the local Toby Keiths on friday - think I'll take it along just for grins - I've gotta believe that a Fenderbird isn't that common in country bands, hahaha!!!
