Chris Squire, Greg Lake, Geddy Lee and Tony Levin walk into a bar. The bartender eyes them suspiciously and finally mutters:
"Gentlemen, I will not serve you, you look just like you will be giving me too much treble tonight ..."
And they say german (bassists) don't have a sence of humor! :P
... and Tony Levin replied, whilst polishing his chrome-dome, "My good man, and just what do you bass this preposterous assumption upon?"
But before the bartender had a chance to reply, Uwe and some Finnish friends walked in requesting, "Gibson's all round, but I'm not buying for the Fin's."
Chris Squier quipped, "There's something fishy about this..."
Greg Lake shouted, "You're tarka'n the p!ss, barman."
... and Geddy just walked out muttering, "I ayn hangin' a-rand for any more of this nonsense, I'm a working man..."
"Gibson's all round, but I'm not buying for the Fin's."
That's because they don't influence sound, but are adversely influenced by alcohol - as Scandinavians tend to be!
