Hey all
what is a lashondo, and how do you spell it correctly.
I'm fairly sure this is a bass playing term............
Found it
Noun 1. glissando - a rapid series of ascending or descending notes on the musical scale
swoop, slide - (music) rapid sliding up or down the musical scale; "the violinist was indulgent with his swoops and slides"
melodic line, melodic phrase, melody, tune, strain, air, line - a succession of notes forming a distinctive sequence; "she was humming an air from Beethoven"
If you do mean glissando, it's not a bass-specific term. But a good example of a gliss on bass would be Bill Wyman's swoops in Paint It, Black.
If it's not glissando, the spelling is likely to be something like lassondo, lassendo, lassanto. All I can find though is lassante which is french for tiresome.
