Please excuse my ignorance on Gibson stuff - what are the main differences in their Tribute series?

Uwe wrote up a nice comparison of older G-3s and his new one. Basically, the newer one was not meant to be a copy of the old ones, but rather, as he wrote, an evolution of the old one.

I wish I'd kept up on that auction.
