Title: An old hunk of wood

This looks fun to me, and if everything is on the up and up, I think the opening bid is rational.  What say ye all?

Really? He's mainly known as a producer, secondly as a steel guitarist. I can't see much of a premium for his name, although it will go high just because of what it is.

+ 1 on the naptha! I don't think that signature ads one dime to the value of the bass. Some pics and documentation of him playing it on a famous song may help.
