Some time ago I mentioned that I was having a 100 watt head built for me that is based on the B-15N circuit. Well, it's finished, and is being shipped to me this week. It has switchable '64 and '66 circuits (like the Heritage B-15), multiple speaker taps for 2,4 and 8 ohms, and a balanced DI output.
Here's a sneak peek ....

Amen!
Nice looker, that's for sure. Bet it sounds as good as it looks.
Pretty sweet.... but is that a typo on the back ("Cab TR" should be "Cab TS," no)?

Mal doesn't have a website for his amp builds, but he owns an amp parts company ... http://evatco.com.au/ He doesn't do many builds, but some of his guitar amps are used by a couple of well known Australian country guitarists.
Wow so your amp is really very exclusive!
May I ask what it cost you to have it built?
Very cool!!!!

As far as I know, this is only the third bass amp Mal has built. The others are the 40 watt prototype I test drove, and an earlier version of the 100 watt model, but without the dual '64/'66 circuits or DI (or Ampeg blue tolex).
Price for me converts to around 900 Euro. That's less than a "retail" customer would pay though, because Mal gave me a generous discount based on the advice and input I gave on features during the design and build process.
Your buddy does FINE work. I like the off/standby/play switch - makes more sense to me than having two different switches. I'm thinking he could sell as many of these he would deem to build. 8)
