Seems like we have two official leaders here - Dave and Uwe.
Uwe seems to go by many monikers and Dave is just - Dave, which works fine for me.
Uwe, on the other hand has many names:
Dr. Venöm
Gibsonbassenwaffenfuhrerbergermiester
The Antichrome
Lawyer
The question is - should Uwe be bestowed with an official title?
"Gibsonbassenwaffenfuhrerbergemiester"
ROFL..... ;D Fraulein Rommel certainly approves!

Gibsongruppenführer
Sigh!
Actually, I'm quite happy that history, fate and my birthdate spared me of the "chance" of ever becoming a "Gruppenführer". ::)

Ah, yes, forgot to include that one. This one is very good as well.
But, would us lazy Americans be forced to download a new language layout for our keyboards to include the umlaut? And does this name somehow manifest his distaste for things shiny? :D
Why don't you guys just settle for "Groupieführer"?
I know, wishful thinking ... ::)
How about GibsonKaiser? The position would require a sword and a piked helmet.
I liked The Anti-Chrome, had a nice apocalyptic ring to it. "Der In Kraut" was a good Euro-pun, but lacks any sense of leadership. Kaiser avoids diacritical complications, but has unfortunate overtones of defeat and living in Holland.
Black Knight of the Last Bass Outpost comes out as "Schwarze Ritter der Letzte Vorposten Bass" according to Google and has a Deep Purple reference, an implied absence of chrome and is unusably long.
unfortunate overtones of defeat and living in Holland ...
:D ;D :D ;D
