Just a great kicking line from Bob and good workout for your picking hand.

No treble posts some cool stuff. Here's Bob talking about ten of his favorite tracks.

I picked up the 2011 version of Blizzard with the restored original bass and drums. Bob's EB3 grunts and pumps like a beast. "Flying High Again" from Diary, was a Hofner Beatle bass according to Bob. I was thinking about transcribing a tune from Blizzard. My leading candidates so far are Mr. Crowley, Suicide Solution or Steal Away the Night. Anybody have a fave among those?
always liked Mr Crowley
I still have a copy of the demo tape Ozzy sent out (somewhere in the loft) to reps with half the LP's material, before Jake E laid the solos down...
Here's Mr. Crowley. It was easier than I thought it would be. Lee really makes the tune cook with his drumming despite the fact his fill in bar 96 kind of derails the rhythm. That's why I like it though. Full of emotion and not sterile and mechanical like Neil Peart sometimes sounded. Happy Daisley picking!

"... Please don't sue me Sharon..." ;D
Sharon has it all (him) under control... All calculated long time ago. Someone clearly needed to save the estate and she has done that fairly well. And a couple of somewhat famous but messed up kids.
the kids have turned out very well.
Jack Osbourne was diagnosed with MS last year...

A couple months ago she filed for divorce saying that after a couple of years of "sobriety," Ozzy had fallen off the wagon one (again) time too many. I never heard anything after that. I think after she reviewed her finances, she decided she could "suffer" some more.
Jack made a REALLY good documentary, "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne," not too long ago. While you can see the love he has for his parents all over the movie, it's not hard to read between the lines.
These are cool transcriptions (though I admit I haven't had a chance to work through them) - I loved/love Bob Daisley's playing, especially on Diary of a Madman. Especially "Flying High Again" and "Believer" - love that solo bass intro!
Thanks. Bob is definitely the man.
