This came as a suprise because all of the Facebook updates from the Deftones had said that Chi was getting better at home and eventually hoped to return to playing with them. I met him in 2001. He was a nice guy, quiet and very polite. Wear your seatbelts folks.

RIP, way too young. Not familiar with their music, but I knew who he was from a Bass Player profile on him years ago.
