Can the market support another high end Fender clone? In that price range, how many will buy a bass from LaBella rather than a Fender CS model?
It does look very nice and the specs are nice.
(edited because I didn't look closely)
I tripped over that thread on TB....sounds like a $3K instrument. I doubt it's going to do much unless there are some merits which don't appear on the description. Lots of great basses available below that price point, and if there's any instrument on the market with options, it's the P-style bass.
Wow, a three thousand dollar P-Bass copy. :-\
Well from what I heard on another thread this bass is built by Mas Hino, who is apparently a very respected builder. Mas and Jimmy Coppollo were both under the tutellage of John Suhr. So if people will pay that much for an Alleva Coppollo I guess this isn't much of a stretch considering all the Nitro and "hand carving".
Why should a solid body be hand-carved? It's not a violin.
Ho hum.............. :P

Attila the Hun, reincarnated somewhere in the Southern US
Leo made production line instruments using semi-skilled labor. Not hand carved by master luthiers. Times change.

The headstock contours pay more than a passing homage to an Alleva Coppollo; they're both fugly.
Just what the world need another P bass clone.
