Because I'm curious, how many Series II BaCHs TH-1s are owned by LBOers?
Denis: 2, 1 black, 1 blue
I have a black one.
Great idea. I too have a black one.
I have one of the first series in white. Then I have a TH-2 of second series in cherry
TH-2 was the third series, wasn't it?
My BaCH was from that second batch.
I had made some mild tweaks to it originally. Here it is in the stock finish, with the Artec stuffed into a NOS 70s pickup cover. I moved the controls into the original NR's locations, added reflector cap knobs, and installed reverse wind tuners:

...and then I converted it to a IV, back-dated the look a bit, and stripped and refin'd it in nitro lacquer. Its running black TB+ soapies that I stuffed into the 70s covers, and I completely rewired it. Sounds and plays fantastic! These are sweet basses. 8)

That is officially the best looking one of the bunch.
Pictures don't do that bass justice. It looks beyond amazing in person.

edit: nevermind, I just saw you're talking about II batch, mine was from that first batch that started this madness.
No, the first batch were all white. Thick body.
Second batch were the thin ones in white, blues and black
So I have one of the first batch in white and one of the third (two PUs) in cherry
Oh, then I'm in! Thnx Rob! :D
one pickup in cherry. third batch iirc. lull pup in it
I am down to one Black TH-1 second series. Great bass :) Repro guard and a Thunderbucker Max. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v102/godofthunder59/3KlirasandaThunderbird005.jpg)
1 white and 1 blue for me. Of course, the blue one is spoken for.

Probably the nicest conversion to date! Just beautiful.

This one was mine. A previous owner put the black PG on. I bought it used and instantly regretted it. I sold it within a week. It's just not my kind of bass and not my kind of sound. I prefer Rickenbackers and Precisions.
