At last! A few things need to be tweaked like a small radius on the ends, tail piece screws and the radius on the trailing edge of the '63-'65 tailpiece. Bridges will come with the early tailpiece but I am also having some of the later Nonreverse "square" end ones made. Lookin' good, Scott!
Pro, Bro... 8)
Just back from holiday, turn on the computer, find this! Man, it's like bass pornography!!! Might have missed any discussion on the subject, so Scott, are you gonna make a series of these?
Yep offering the whole unit, bridge, tailpiece, anchors and inserts. No final price yet but I am hoping to keep it under $200. I am still debating about the hex nuts, they look cool but are not practical. I may just offer them to those who want them and they can install them themselves.
Looks great Scott!!
Some matching tailpiece screws and we have a winner
The correct tail piece screws will be provided, I just don't have any on hand at the moment.
Wow, those are beautiful!!!!! I probably will be able to use a few in the future! Keep us posted.
Chrome tailpiece would be nice for this bass.

Mark is that a original tailpiece or one of Bill's?
It's not an original, this bass was Baz' the Kurt's (DC10Bass) before I bought it - so it could be one of Bill's. I've nevr seen any close shots of his so I don't know.
Thanks Mark! The reason I ask is I am going to offer two tailpieces. Early '63-'65 with the radius on the trailing edge and late '65-'68 with no radius. I am looking for a definitive radius there seems to be some variation. Can someone post a picture of a know '63-'65 tailpiece ?
VERY cool stuff. Just wish you made 8 string bridges like this....
Baz man you have 8 string on the brain! Would it have to have individual saddles? or would a tail piece be enough?

'65 TBird and '67 Embassy. Approximately 1/8" radius on the '65, straight sides. The Embassy sides taper to a very tight radius. My '64 has approx. 1/16" radius and straight sides.
I think these things varied as to who was doing the final sanding and buffing/polishing before they were plated.

Carlo I believe your right! Lots of variation out there. If it's ok I'd like to use the pic of your '65 as a pattern.

Definitely Scott!
Mine were nickel coated and this looks like it could be one of them.
Scott, for Proper intonation, there would have to be 8 saddles in the bridge and 8 slots in the tailpiece.
Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bridges shipping this week :) Anyone interested please PM me.
