anybody seen or heard of these.  looks like a decent starting point for some upgrading...

Looks like it could be made in the same factory making the Douglas that Rondo is selling.  Different bridge and headstock.  Rondo's shipping  to CT should be a lot cheaper and their customer service is topnotch.  I'd go with Kurt  and the slightly higher overall price.  I do like that headstock better than the Douglas, all it needs are some clover Hipshots.

Don't know a thing about them, but they look pretty nice.  As long as that bridge will intonate OK, you should have a good instrument to play with.

They don't list the brand name, probably a good idea b/c it looks like Maestro and that name is trademarked by Gibson.
