I wonder what "PCCL by Heartfield" (on the headstock) means. Could it have something to do with the electronics? Most Ibanez of that era were made by Fuji Gen Gakki and Heartfield definitely was.

Hmmmm....pretty cool. Have not seen that one before. That's right around when I wrote the Ibanez guitar and bass catalog. When I was at their Pennsylvania HQ, they took me into the custom shop and I checked out some of the axes they were working on (yes, U.S. Ibanezs...or would the plural be "Ibani?".  The coolest of the bunch was one for Paul Stanley that was a cross between a Les Paul and an Iceman that had a piece of labeling tape on it that read "Les Paul Stanley." Funny.
