QuoteALL ORIG ASIDE FROM IT BEING SWITCHED TO A "LEFTY" AT SOME POINT
Well now
Looks like no reserve, so maybe it will sell and fade into obscurity.
I won't go into any detail here, but in case anyone is seriously interested in this bass, you owe it to yourself to talk to Bruce Johnson (who did the conversion) about the neck on this one. And as I said before, AFAIK the seller is either the legal owner or has the permission of the legal owner to sell it.
Look! A baby wolf!

Hey birdie, are you in NY now?
Trust me, you really don't want to know the history.
The rhythm method... a bit left field if your asking me...

I will trust you on that. Still staying at sister in law's house an hour north, as we don't have a kitchen, or a bathroom on our floor. Plus no shop, as the basement is full of all the work men's stuff...
Maybe another 3 weeks before we are able to unpack!!
15000 pounds was the weight of the move :o :o. Of that, maybe 1000 is mine.....jeesh
well how about that! ;)
"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
What can I say. :-X
@birdie: hope you get settled soon. No fun being in temporary housing.

Aha. It was "no longer available" at the much lower price it was about to fetch.
I wonder if this is the guy who bought it? He's looking for a pickguard............ :P

Whoa! I saw that post but didn't connect the dots. Maybe that's the one he bought.
I sent him a PM telling him Uwe could get him a template when he gets back from vacation, but he hasn't answered me.
I told him to check with Jules, (I know he has some templates for pickguards) I didn't connect the dots until today either.

If that's the one, I hope he got it at a reasonable price. It had a problem that I doubt has been corrected.

Like an honest past? ;D

Seriously, AFAIK the instrument's past is honest. It was a matter of someone not being forthcoming about why he no longer owned it.
According to Bruce Johnson, it had a neck problem.
