If you click View All Questions, you'll see a modest offer from Henry J himself. ;D

Aw come on Scott, don't be so cynical! It has potential. :P Besides, charcoal gray was a custom finish on Les Pauls with neck plates!
Laughed very hard! ;D
Well we know about all the rage with roasted guitar necks!

I should buy it for the neck plate, a good starting point for restoration.
That is one burned turd ;)
Laughing out loud! ;D
For anyone who likes to give their basses girls' names - meet cinder-ella.

You older guys might get that reference. ;D
I'm obviously not old enough! Explain!!!
"In need of attention" - love the way the seller put that.

Jack Cassidy (David's father), as opposed to Jack Casaday.
Jack Cassidy met his maker after falling asleep in bed with a lit cigarette. He had to be identified by his dental records.

The questions are priceless.

That is brilliant. And you, Sir, have a demented twisted mind!
I remembered that Jack Cassidy died young and unexpectedly, not sure that I ever read about the fire.
Offspring can be disappointing sometimes and the Patridge Family wasn't everybody's cup of tea, but IMHO self-burning is carrying things a bit too far.

From what I've heard, Jack was envious of David's fame - Dad was a "real" actor and felt that he deserved better.
Worse things have and do happen on TV.

Ooh- custom color Typhoon! ;D
Shirley Jones was on the Today show a few weeks ago, she was starting a singing tour and was still in good voice. I just looked up her age, she's 77 today.
My youngest sister had David Cassidy posters on her wall until he posed nude somewhere (Rolling Stone?), then they all came down at once. It was too much for a 12 year old.

Kinda creepy - as is this recent pic of Davy Jones :o

Yikes! :o Davy Jones with moobs! Where's the eyewash!
Geez, at least David Cassidy was young when he, errm, shed his bubblegum image.
These days he's a credible Vegas style middle of the road/blue-eyed soul singer me thinks. Nice voice.

He certainly had talent. Talk about (over-)embellished piano playing!

AFAIK he wasn't well regarded as a pianist. OTOH he was very popular with people who like mindless spectacle.
I've heard piano players with a lot worse timing. And he certainly hit those keys hard.
