For some reason I think the black Pre EB's sound best. I think they used Poplar for the body wood.
Sweet! I always wanted a Stingray, never ended up with one...
I love these in black. I wish I had black, but I have an early EB in green see through. It looks like Christmas ribbon candy, which is fun, but I wish it was black.

I have a black one with a white PG and a really mojo'ed Sabre in natural.

Cool! I like the old ones too. I used to have a thing for that StingRay sound, but never ended up buying one. A little too Fender-ish for my taste feel-wise. 8)
