Guys, I'm just checking in briefly at an internet cafe half way through our 6 gig tour of Singapore. I'll touch base properly when I'm back next week, but in the meantime here's a link to our Facebook photo album documenting the gigs ....

Go down to the Adelaide Internet-store cafe thing, Bret, and get your prescription fixed... ;)
and Mark... looks like your having fun... just don't go bringing back anything you shouldn't oughta... ;D
Wow, last night was very cool. The gig went enormously well, and then some of the staff from the venue's office took us clubbing. At 3am, by request we ended up on stage at the Pump Room, a dance/techno club, playing 2 songs using the house band's gear. First time I've played a 5 string live, and the second time in 20 years I've played roundwounds LOL Seeing Keef next to me playing a pointy orange Ibanez was quite bizarre.

I'm currently editing 5 hours of video taken from different angles during the week, and hope to get some up on YouTube later this week
Wig looks great Mark. Looks like you are all having a good time. Cool pics.

Looks like a good time! I'm guessing much of the crowds are tourists?
Did you write a "no brown M&M's" rider...? ;D

Not in Singapore. It's not really a backpacker mecca, because of the high hotel and drink costs.
That crowd are pretty much all expats and locals. 25% of Singapore's population are foreign workers. Most of the people in that pub are US and Brit oil and gas execs and bankers, plus local yuppies. But they know how to party.

Our drinks rider was 4 x 20 Imperial ounce pints each per gig (ie. $280 per night) Kilkenny is brown enough for me.
I just finished editing a few hours of video from my Flip Mino HD camera. I taped it to the wall in a different part of the room each night and recorded one set. Here's some warts and all footage ....

Mark, you have all of Bill's wild stage gyrations down pat, but do you practice his smile too?
"Paint it black" Rules Mark!
As much as I like it when we get to play on a big stage, I really enjoy a bar gig like that, being right there at the same level as the folks dancing is very fun - gratifiying because you can be amongst them while they're having a good time.

Believe me, I'd love to be released from the Wyman persona every now and then. It's not easy to stay in character.

You're about the right age to start secretly dating a 13 year old girl. In 6 years you can marry her.

In The Counterfeit Stones the bass player is called Bill Hymen and there's usually a joke about Ruby Tuesday being in his favourite key.

How cruel, Dave! She'll of course jilt him for Noel Gallagher eventually.
But he really should start wearing trainers on stage. Ian Hill (of Judas Priest) and ole Bill invented that satorial style.
