Title: Fender Musicmaster Bass Amp
Post by: Chris P. on November 19, 2010, 09:14:45 AM
I fell in love with this little tube amp at a friend's place. Searched for it for a year, but I stopped after a while. In an American guitar magazine I read an interview with the Black Keys. Love that band. They used this little amp for both guitar and bass for the last album and that sounds nice. The La La Lies will record in a big Belgian studio in March, so again I decided to search for one. A couple of weeks ago I found a very cheap one on eBay USA. It will be here any day now.

Today I found a mint one for cheap in Amsterdam. Bought that too. Both are 110V instead of the Dutch 220V but I've got a transformer. The bad looking one of eBay will be sold. I already have a potential buyer.

Keep ya posted.

I love mine, I bridge it with a small Vox bass amp for great tone on low-volume shows.

Cool! I have exactly the same Vox! How do you bridge it?

Those Musicmaster amps are the bomb for low volume stuff! I have been looking for one for years at a reasonable price.
