Title: Interesting TBird Pic
Post by: marcnorth on April 05, 2008, 10:09:12 PM
Here's a pic I found while doing a search today. I thought it was pretty cool. I like the three pickup model but it would be cooler in red.

Ooh, that 3-pickup model might whet the appetite of some people we know. ;)

I remember a red 3-pickup model w/chrome covers on Ebay a few years back.  That was some *serious* drool material.

I've seen two pics of two different three pick up birds on the ole Pit. the red one and a cream one, both with chrome pick ups. I guess someone still has it and will post it here soon!

"Overend Watts? "

Well I *wish* it was mine, I love the look of single pick up 'Birds. But George (Old Man C) had one and then passed it on to Uwe. And yeah Overend had a 60's white one too, very Rockstar!

I do remember the white single pickup model George once had, but the three-pickup version doesn't ring a bell.

That Georgiebird I inherited from Herr Carlston is actually the piano-rrringiest bird I have, bit Ric'ish even, I really like it though the pup has to be slanted quite a bit to get an even string response.

One of those three pup beasts really needs introduction into ze klleckshün I think ... Can't see the pics from here though as I'm on a vacation trip in a Danish beach cottage with my Blackberry ... Might get the laptop I have with me running tomorrow.
