Anyone know who's this is? I'd buy it if I could swing it.

is this one of the original order. looks mint
It's one from the most recent (third set).
That couldn't have popped up at a worse time for me. I also thought that the TH-2 was only recently offered.
timing always sucks for stuff. Just bought a new car for my wife yesterday and owe Bruce Johnson the balance for AEB-2 # 70 - so I am pretty much tapped out. Mortgage my have to a few days.(((( i threw up a bid. will see if i win or not. Getting close to price from Rob for new one anyway. someone is supposed to send me money for my Yamaha 10th Anniv Billy Sheehan bass. wish me luck.. don't bid against me please. you guys have one already.....
Did you guys change out the pups? pickguard??? anything else?
Some have changed out the pups and the pgs. I've done neither yet and probably won't touch the pgs on mine because I like the way they sit on the body. Scheming on the pups though!
someone just upped the bid. Probably cost same as new.....
pretty sure i will go with the lull pups when i finally get a bachbird. really like the white or blue. very cheesy vintage vibe.
seeler on ebay mentioned a decal for the pickguard. that should work for you..
Not sure what the price is for them at the moment but remember that shipping was pricey from Europe even with Rob's contacts. This one has a $45 shipping price on it.
It will be very interesting to see how much this goes for considering NRs (except for '90s Epis) have pretty much been MIA in any form for a long time.
WTF? Someone's looking to go into business?
I thought someone here was talking about selling their new Bach after they bought an original black one??? I think this is theirs?
It was mine. Apparently the current owner doesn't like it all that much either.
It looks like I would have been much better off to list it on ebay, but I figured I'd offer it here first, this being more or less the birthplace of the Bachbirds.
Gary, I'm sorry that the timing was bad for you, you could have driven here and picked it up. But on second thought, maybe you wouldn't like it either.
It looks like Rob should start selling these on ebay.
Yeah, the current bid is up over what I think ordering from Rob would cost. The fact that these are still pretty unique is making them easy to sell, especially once they hit the States.
It seems to have been taken off sale...?

WOW! I can only hope that my TH-1 goes that high if I ever sell it. I've even upgrade the volume pot, and dropped a '60s Gibson pickup in it.

Someone, maybe GoT, made the comment a couple of weeks ago that they'd guess that someday our NRs will be go up in value because of the relative scarcity of any type of NR. We can hope!
Sure they will go up in value. It would have been nice if the guy that bought the bass for John's nice price had offered it up here at the Outpost for the same price. I could have made more on my black TH-1 on Ebay too but I wanted it to go to someone here. Seemed like the right thing to do.
Hey, I'm happy. I do really like black one, so things worked out great for me.
If I do ever sell my TH-1, you guys will be the first to know. Even my Embassy found a home when I sold it. There were 3 people that didn't meet my reserve on Ebay. One guy got indignant when I asked how much he was offering (he was a dealer). I ended up selling to Mark (fur85), and even hand delivered it to him in Chicago.
