I have been using a self made guitar called "The Goblin" for a while with my band, which looks really cool and sounds really good too.

And so our bassplayer has been bugging me to build a matching bass. And since I love building I complied...

It has a body of Mahogany with Maple wings, a mahogany neck with a 32' inch medium scale length, Active J-pickups, a Kahler bridge and Schaller tuners.
It might look wonky but it balances perfectly and it sounds really good, it has that punch of a long scale with the rubberry feel of a short scale
Cool looking bass. I love a medium scale.
Nice looking duo. Set neck?
I can't recall his name, but do you still work for a luthier?

The name you're looking for is Jan Knooren and Yes I still work for him.
Nice, has kind of a Kramer 8 string vibe to it.
I like them!
Those are both beautiful ! I like the name also.
Only one photo of you in the workshop on his website and you're not even facing the camera. His site needs an update.
Mooie bas!!! I like 32" too. My Burns Vista Sonic has it and it plays very nice.
Nice design. A bit boutique, a bit Buzzard, but really original.
BTW: Are there pics of the building process? Maybe nice to future them once in Musicmaker or our special 'Op Bestelling' (special order) segment of De Bassist?
