Actually, my first TB project, one I did several years ago, was a Fenderbird from parts I scarfed off eBay. This is it. Alder body, walnut top, Warmoth paddle head neck that I made into a TB style headstock. Sounded great, but was way neck heavy, so I sold it. Sorry about the pup, I thought it would be fun to experiment! :P

I'm sorry , but it looks clean & everything but comes off looking like a melted wish bass with the figured wood. All I see is a tree stump!
LOVE ALL YOUR OTHER BASSES THOUGH!
Yeah, it does look kinda funky! However, I do take exception to the "Wish bass" comparison. :'( Only in his dreams could he do one as well! I am quite proud of the neck though............

I remember that one and I really liked the look of it. Especially the walnut top.
There was always something weak looking about those Tiny precision pups. That's why they put those huge chrome ash trays over them.
I think my Fenderbird is kind of ugly too. (As my says, I just keep digging my grave deeper)
I like that singlecoil smack in the middle - have a penchant for singlecoils although it is an ungibsonish thing to own up to! :-[
I did this one before I bought my first Gibson. Just had a few Fenders in the house at the time as I recall. Maybe the EB-650. It got me interested in TBs and the rest is history!
