Title: 5 string Thunderbirds by Mike Lull
Post by: TBird1958 on December 29, 2009, 06:04:55 PM

So........

While at Mike's today to drop off my BaCH for it's new pickgard I got to see several of his new 5 string Thunderbirds being readied for travel to the NAMM show. Lets just say they looked fantastic! Chromey 5 string pickup! YUM! I don't know what the street price is but they sure looked fantastic, from what Mike had told me some months ago the new pickup is designed to give even string response on all five, rather than the somewhat overpowering B on the Gibson studio version.
That's a dangerous shop to visit!  ;)

You have 4 and 8 string Birds, it's time for a 5.
