I love how everyone is posting pictures of their kids for the Christmas cards.
Here's what I usually send around

Whether they're actual kids or not, your babies are your babies, right? ;D
Great cover. Takes me back!

My the Christmas basenji open as many presents, shred as many tissues, eat as many cookies as possible!

You're "barking" John... (old "Cockney" euphemism... ;D)
Metal Hurlant... awesome Gary... (hold on a mo... Daleks... my daughter...! - feigns outrage... ;D)
Anyone would think you're obsessed, Al...!
A perfect "family" shot, Mark...
I think Mark's T-birds are faaaaaabulous! Very color-appropriate!
And he knows it's just a Coug thing.

Merry Christmas all! Here is a photo of my children a few years back. My son, who will be 10 next month put ceiling cat up above them. It amazes me how these kids know computers!

Which reminds me... If I've heard correctly DC has been hit heavily by snow-storms...
Who's stuck out there...? presume Gonzo's still basking in the sunshine, and let's not mention Summer in Oz...
We have heard reports from parts of Europe where it has dropped below -30 Celcius (-22F) - numerous deaths from hypothermia...
I heard reports of 18+ inches in a day in the DC/Virginia area. That's serious snow for that area!
Even here in Colorado that would probably shut things down for a day or so while snow removal caught up - in eastern metro areas it must be a real mess. Air flights are completely messed up and some people won't be able to complete Christmas trips at all - can't re-book for 3+ days.

Happy Holidays everyone!

I cracked up when I read this, Al... the "Eurostar" express train that runs between London and Brussels/Paris shut down due to a little cold weather - took 3 days to sort out - we have had nowhere near the levels of snow some of you guys have had...

Sorry about that, Big D... My wife is a "serious crafter" and a very good card maker, so I have to be "innovative" in my designs - this was a Christmas card I did a few years back (for a friend) with my first RC Dalek, some blue LED's, a crystal ball, and some patience to get the lights right... I have 5 now, not all RC... largest is about "knee-high", so I can keep him in control ("behave, or you lose your batteries...!") - very iconic items for us Brits...
We have a double episode of Doctor Who over Christmas day and New Years day - a new "Time-Lord" is due... possibly the top viewing for the UK over this time period...
OMG...
I just went geek...!!! ;D
I have no idea what "Dalek" is. I'm culturally deprived!
As they said in West Side Story, I'm depraved onna counta I'm deprived.
A Dalek is out of the Dr. Who series. A robot that wants to exterminate humans if I remember correctly.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!!
Daleks are not robots but mutated organisms inside of a mechanical suit.
The two specials are sure to do well here too from what I have seen. I know I have set my DVR to record the first and I plan to set my DVR to record the next one as soon as I can. Sad to see Tennant go but I look forward to seeing what Moffat and Smith can do in the new season, especially considering the episodes that Moffat has been behind.
Keep in mind, he will knock 4 times.
Season greetings to you all :)
Its forcast 42°C (107.6°F) here today. Bushfires are back on the West Coast of SA, no deaths thankfully.
Supposed to be a beautiful 25°C up in the hills on Christmas day. Party at my place under the new verandah :toast:

Happy holidays all. :)
Merry Christmas to all in here along with best wishes for a grand New Year and respect to all.
Now that the time is here, I thought I'd post my Christmas present - a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.0 with a pair of 12T speakers.
Here it is next to my Aria Diamond Hi-flyer style bass. At this moment, it is not shaking the windows and causing a cat to hide in the basement, two floors below:

Sh-yeah, Santa comes in a canoe here.
;)
The children and I actually spent Christmas Eve working in Grandma's yard.
The three of us,
armed with a lawnmower and two weedeaters,
got her
entire yard looking great for Christmas.
...and yes.
It was a beautiful day,
not a cloud in the sky,
I was shirtless
and got too much sun.
;D
Mele Kalikimaka me ka Hau?oli Makahiki Hou!!!
Merry Christmas! Hoping your holiday was nowhere near as snowy as ours was here in Minnesota! Enough White Christmas already!! :toast:
Clear and crisp today, I can't complain.
Happy Christmas everyone.
Had 20 degrees and 20+ MPYH winds all day yesterday, and looks like the same today.
But we're staying tucked in other than trips to exchange or pick up incidental stuff.
Went to "The Blind Side" last night. Remarkable movie - well acted, and a story that tells you there are good people in the world. highly recommended!
