1960 EB0 on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-1960-GIBSON-EB0-LES-PAUL-DOUBLE-CUT-BASS_W0QQitemZ120507053865QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item1c0ec7b729#ht_500wt_1182)

Seems nice indeed.  And cheaper opening bid than most people have been trying to get of late.  However, I would not be surprised if no one is inclined to throw over four grand at one of these things with that kind of finish wear.  Not in this economy anyway.

Haven't we seen this one before? The wear pattern and auction text look familiar. Maybe it's a price reduction, though I agree it's hard to see this one fetching the opening bid.

there was that one that sold for like $1200 about a year ago, right as the recession started it was pretty worn, but still a great deal.
