Dave's new avatar? A sudden immersion in the spiritual depth of Native American culture? Shall we call you "Chief Dave" then or "Man-who-hears-that-finish-does-not influence-sound"?
Some enlightenment please!
Maybe he watched 'Billy Jack' again and is having a 70's flashback?
F Troop.
No?
I b'leeve it has to do with the discussion of Joey Bishop as Kronk the indian in Texas Across the River.
It's Frank DeKova as Chief Wild Eagle (of the Hekawis) on F Troop.
When he wasn't playing Indans, he was playing Italian gangsters.
In case you aren't familiar, F Troop was a serious historical drama. Larry Storch only takes serious dramatic roles.

Indian women I've met don't look like that.
Don't you and Uwe get all excited about this, I probably won't keep the avatar for long.
He's the last of the mohiccyuns....homiccyuans...miccahockiuns....
Them folks.
"Where Indian fights are colorful sights ..." .
Not sure if F Troop ever ran here, but it certainly seemed devoted to historically accurate depiction.

Historically accurate? This is from Season 2 (1966), when Agarn (Larry Storch) hires a band whose music was certainly ahead of their time.

But apparently underappreciated. And they weren't even Injuns!
