I have wondered who they were based on - Dr Teeth was based on "Dr John", and Animal was (possibly) based on Keith Moon, the bass could be "Berry" but is called Floyd Pepper...

I believe the name of Floyd Pepper was a combination of Pink Floyd and Sgt. Pepper. See the uniform jacket:)

Seriously, he's Dr. John with a little Leon Russell influence.

But Dr. Teeth is no Rowlf.
