Looks nice and it has all of that chrome that some of you love so much.
Tough way to sell custom guitars.
Looks too much like someone just put all the parts together that he found in a drawer.
Unfortunately I think it was intentional.
The Ric neck on the NR body doesn't work. You wouldn't have to duplicate the Gibson headstock, but using another brand's distinctive headstock just looks weird. The combination of solid color top and (apparently) light natural color back doesn't work either. He doesn't use good design sense.
His website design is awful too. And the religious angle turns me off.
Dave just saved me a lot of typing. :-\
I don't think the headstock works either. Plus I've never liked the ashtrays on any bass. It clutters up the top IMO. I didn't bother with his website, does he mention who made the pickups?
I checked out the site. Might be Rio Grande pickups. Low budget site for sure, but maybe he's just getting started. He is the same guy that was offering custom lefty LP basses on ebay a while back.

... and it sure is a tough world out there at the moment...
"ashtrays"...? not heard that term before, Andy...
you brits lead a sheltered life. perhaps to much time in your sheds?
Ashtrays: chrome bridge covers on Fenders that have no opening at the bottom, good for collecting ashes.
These really aren't ashtrays since they're open, but the term has stuck anyway.
Well... I was down the shed earlier,Nofi... "jacking up" the PC 'Bird... I'll explain that elsewhere... ;)
Thanks for the info, again, my mentor; and Nofi, definitely a sheltered life... until this year I was musically out of the loop, and I've never owned a F*nd*r...
I've only ever owned 6 basses... I still own 3 of them... 2 died... I did own an active maho thru-neck Jazz copy, for a while, but she didn't work out, and she has been the only instrument I have ever sold-on...
