These were matte finishes, maybe not as basic as the faded but still less expensive to finish than the standards, thus the lower price.

Post by: uwe on September 23, 2009, 04:42:17 AM: Neck not correctly set? That happens very, very seldom with Gibson for all their quality issues. Sounds a bit like someone not understanding how three-point and truss rod adjustment counteract, but I wouldn't take the gamble either.
