My old band in the 90s opened for King's X, backstage Dug told me it has to be the only show ever with two lefty bassists playing 12-string basses. Probably so.
They are such a great band and nice folks.

I may be selling my 1953 Gibson EB made lefty. It's IMMACULATE! Looks NEW!!!
The new bridge & nut were done by the illustrious genius Bruce Johnson.
Still have the old bridge too if someone wants to turn her back into a righty.
All serious offers over 10k considered. I'll post some pics soon...

I have new respect for Kansas, thanks Mike. Great playing. I love the look of the upside down basses you play. Those Charvels are cool and sound great to me.

thanks BD, the Spider intro to Portrait/HeKnew I never played until someone asked me to play it the other day, and I'm not sure if the bass "lead" that starts at 58 sec is correct or not since I hear so much keyboard stuff mixed in, I just picked a part and played it.
Actually the song is very ELP sounding from the era.

the GNR, well....that's GNR

Nice collection, Saf!

I love the newer pic better, Leftybass. If Michael Caine would play Paul McCartney it would look like that!

Thanks, I like that!

Interesting(maybe, maybe not) thing about our band, we never mention The Beatles during the show, and we dont refer to each other as John or Paul, etc. Just seemed cheesy to do that. Yes, we dress like them and play the music as close to the record as possible, but we dont pretend to BE them.

:D No!
That's just the cord. Most of the cords I use have an right-angled jack on one end. After years of playing a Precision I like a lower profile jack. The Bridge is a BadAss II.
