Since I'm not able at the moment to buy it myself I figured that it would be the right thing to tell you guys about this.

Wow, I love the simplicity of that bass!
Also here on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/1971-Guild-Bass-Vintage-Relic_W0QQitemZ230334177433QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item230334177433&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50)
great looking bass! would like to ad that one to the collection. But as always how to fund it?
That's the first sunburst JS I've ever seen. That looks great! I wonder why Gibson never made a sunburst EBO?
They made/make sunburst SGs, like the guy of Wolfmother uses. But a burst on an SG model never seems to look good. Not to mention Uwe's Clownburst.
I've never seen a sunburst JS before, and I wonder if it's original. Either way, I don't think it looks good.
I ma pretty sure that is original, saw them come through the store back in the day. I like it !
I was considering getting this one from Rumble Seat Music a couple of years ago:
