This forum has an unofficial tradition of topics about World War II which have been posted from time to time. I think that's mostly because a few of the members are actually experts on World War II. I'm not one of those experts. In fact, my main area of interest has always been the American Civil War. I can add to the WWII stuff in that I've spent some time for work on Saipan. So much WWII history there. And then the atomic bomb loading pits next door on Tinian.
