Beautiful tune. I didn't know George co-wrote.

The line about swans in the park came from Ringo who walked in drunk while Eric and George were writing the song.

The Easter egg for me is the Mellotron mandolin overdub, low in the mix, from 2:12 under the final verse.

It's an odd song, full of pathos while almost teetering on the brink of whimsical incoherence. The Leslie-treated guitar break is absolutely gorgeous and Clapton's solo is economical brilliance.

Badge is probably my favorite Cream song, I love the bass line, it carries the whole song and the Beatle like second half (thanks to George) is a beautiful counterpoint to the main body of the song.

That coda part absolutely yells Harrison!
