Noticed the tort is looking better. I've been wondering if Fender is the new owner of G&L.

Poacher turned game keeper, or something like that! Ironic given that G&L was the final epoch of Leo Fender's developments with solid instruments.
Nice to see Fender make an honest, one pickup Mustang Bass in America. It uses the same outline as the JMJ and every modern reissue dating back to the '90s Japanese reissues. Odd to see white pickup covers as that wasn't a thing with the originals. Those pickups only gained white covers on the Bullet basses?
That Mustang looks great! I like a bit of extra chrome. I really like the color of the P-bass above it.
There has been a lot of speculation about whether Fender would buy G&L - we should find out soon.
Not that I'm interested in anything Fender besides a Jaguar bass, but still, f*** you, Fender, for offering nothing interesting in left-handed.
I now have one of these Mustangs in sparkly green. I used to have a JMJ, and would have kept it if not for the pesky fake wear!
This bass feels strongly reminiscent. Best part is a richly dark rosewood fretboard and superb fretwork.
