I know that 1991 TB+ had a metal plate covering the underside. 2001 TB+ had just a drilled hole through the epoxy underneath. Since at least 2013, TB+ have an actual molded cutout in the plastic cover underneath for the mounting screws. Anyone know when this started? I'm trying to date a set of TB+ and so far that's all I have to go on, that they just have just drilled holes through the epoxy underneath.
Thanks.
My '94 Les Paul has the molded cutouts FYI.

Thanks. You mean these?
Yes, I hope that's what you meant too!
Exactly! Thanks. TB+ are so weird. I really do love the tone of the 2000-era ones that just seem to be drilled there, no molded cutout. I still have the 1991s with the flat metal plate over the bottom to try out. No idea what they'll sound like relative to the 2001 and 2013.

Reading between the lines when there's nothing there. Is that a lawyer thing? ;D ;)
