Hiding evidence in another file? This is court room drama material for the script of Baldwin's next film.
Someday prosecutors will learn to hand over all material so that the defense can decide whether or not they think it's relevant.
Brady Rule (https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/brady_rule)
Definitely something rotten in the State of New Mexico.
Sounds likely that the armorer in the case should have her conviction reversed as well.
Brady violations happen all too often in just about every state even though the case was decided by the Supreme Court in 1963. You heard about it this time b/c it's such a high profile case.
It's when prosecutors get this hunter's instinct, which is unfortunate. There are not there to hunt, but to help establish the truth. The fact that DAs are elected in the US and want to show a successful track record for it excacerbates the issue IMHoutsider'sO.
