Eastwood already makes the copy of the Shergold Marathon 6 voor Hooky and now they added a new one.
Fun facts: semisolid, longscale, reversed split P and a thru neck.

That's a little pricey for Eastwood. Some years ago I was missing a Rivoli I had sold and picked up a Classic IV on kijiji for a good price. It's not a bad bass.

P pickup right by the bridge? No thanks!
Price is high but Eastwood seems to have figured out how to make limited editions and still make a profit. They probably expect to sell even fewer of these than usual and so have priced it higher. Hopefully (for them) there are enough Hooky fans to make it work.
For me the pickup is too close to the bridge too. So I'll keep it at my Starfire I with the split P in the middle.
Eastwood instruments always felt overpriced, when I tried them in the past. Harley Benton build quality, copy of some random '60s catalog guitar, Fender price tag.
What a weird video for this semi-hollow on the Eastwood site. The guy isn't actually playing in the audio, or it's completely out of sync.

Nothing a neck mudbucker can't fix...
It's a multitracked cover of the Joy Division track 'Disorder'. They've not sync'd up the B-roll footage very well. Probably a rush job!
The bass sounds very Peter Hook! Clanky, thin and metallic. Just add an analog chorus unit.
I would only consider one if they copied the yellow/black striped one with a 5 and a 1 as f-holes. The Fac.51 bass. Love that one!

you could always join a Stryper tribute with that

I guess you need to know the story about Fac.51, the Haçienda, and Factory Records to get that yellow/black bass.
