Title: Unusual industrial tool
Post by: Pilgrim on July 12, 2023, 10:58:08 PM
Never seen one of these before. Glad I didnt!

The purpose is clear and the graphic helps the operator center up the subject.  However, the attachments look kinda painful.

A power tool (toy?) for the more experienced, yet discerning user, who wishes to probe deeply with some impact.

But it does look a bit like it was driven hard (into whatever) and put away wet in its case.

PS: One day, we will have to no doubt answer for threads like this one! We really should have pulled the plug on the subject while we still could.

Looks like it could invoke uncontrollable backfiring at the most in opportune timing..........

Yes, you truly have brought things into our once innocent world ...

(Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes is a flawed film, but the - CGI-free - ape make-up was great. The scene is also a lesson in cineastic dialectism, Charlton Heston, the NRA guy, warning a fascinated Tim Roth, in real life a staunch gun opponent, about the evil of man-made weapons.)

A bit like Butt Bud Light, they are, uhum, opening up to new market segments. No doubt, more traditional tool users will be bound to feel offended.
