Christine RIP.  She was my favorite in Fleetwood Mac.

A wonderful singer/songwriter/keyboardist. She will be missed. Seemed like the most sane one in the band.

He's utterly fascinating to watch in all his frantic intensity, has a voice that is neither male nor female, just beautiful (for years I thought his voice was one of the two women in the band), writes great, great music and lyrics and plays guitar like no other man on earth. Would I want to be in the same band with him?

That said, Christine and him always got along best and he admired her for her English pop sensibility.

Without him and Christine though, it really is the Stevie Nicks Show now.

Which is why Fleetwood Mac is of little interest to me.  It has always been Christine and Lindsey who appealed to me the most.  Nothing wrong with Stevie Nicks, but without Christine and Lindsey, then Fleetwood Mac no longer exists.  That was actually already the case after they kicked out Lindsey.

I know, all those years in the Hanoi Hilton were hard on you and you were secluded from the world.

I never listened to Fleetwood Mac.

I think a band such as Fleetwood Mac maybe had too light of a sound for a lot of people.  It's kind of like pop rock, IMO.  I'm not going to shell out a lot of money for all their CDs the way I have with my favorite artists.  But I think Fleetwood Mac deserves consideration.  Plus, Christine McVie was underrated.  Also, their album "Rumours" is way up there in importance.  I may buy some CDs now.  I have "Rumours" already from way back when I used to buy vinyl.

It's just a solo song and not Fleetwood Mac itself, but you can't even watch "Vacation" without listening to this song by Lindsey Buckingham.  The second video is even a more creative use of "Holiday Road" but this time imagining what it would have been like for the prisoners to be listening to it in the "Shawshank Redemption."
