Beautiful paint job.  Are "Thunderbird Reissue" pickups what are in the 2021 NR?

Lovely deep color. The Vibrola looks cheap, but then they do so on guitars as well. 32" is rare for Gibson. Last time they did that was with the 80ies Explorers (and horrible contraptions they were). But with a Vibrola it makes sense.

It's listed as a 2011 model year. My guess is it's being sold as a "tenor bass" because the vibrola doesn't have enough spring tension to function properly in standard tuning.

I like the colour . And I don't doubt that spring tension had something to do with it being strung like a tenor .
