Kind cool too bad it's like the only one!

I wonder what the specs were on that sidewinder.
Was there a run of those ?

All - and I repeat: all - SG shape bass three pup combos were my invention and solely mine. Will you all testify for me when I take them to court?
I kinda like the utilitarian look of it - sort of like it dropped off a US Army truck with military equipment crates.
You even tried to entice me to rout my 1970 slothead EB-0L for extra pickups!
BTW I love that pickguard. A thick ply of white and then two thinner black and white laminates on top of it. Very elegant, and reminiscent of old arch-top guards with a delicate gold line painted near the edge.
What do you think of the HP (?) engraving on the TRC?

Indeed!
Maybe a little sunshine and less court time though!

You mean my complexion was sort of gollum'ish?
Perhaps an undetected omega-3 insufficiency? I need to eat more fish!!!

They can feel free to send me one! It probably even sounds good.

Their next version will have a shell casing inlay.
Cool looking bass, though I would have gone for two T-bird pups like Uwe.
What and where is this 5-way toggle they mention? I only see three knobs and an output jack. And what is "HP"? And why is the one knob different than the others? So many questions! ;D

I'm guessing the black knob is 5-way rotary.

I always wondered what you looked like under all that drag queen clobber. You can't fake those cheekbones!
Sashay away...
Man, I'd have a hard time finding a job with Twisted f***in' Sister if I wore drag!

Where do you see HP? I don't see it.
Back in 2017 Gibson started using T to designate its traditional models and HP for the non-traditional extras (e.g. Min-E-Tune) but these went out under the new management.

Oops, sorry. I was looking for it in the text, never looked at the headstock closeup. :-[
That's the same TRC they used on the HP SG guitars. They obviously had some left over (and probably still do). The Les Paul HP models also had metal TRCs but with the name of the model stamped.
Pah, the thing couldn't take a bullet ...
That finish looks better close up, otherwise I dunno why they went back to the 70s turd spectrum.
Despite that it is pretty cool - I'd be interested.

I assumed that was the neck pickup blend knob. Wouldn't be the first time a Gibson description didn't match the actual instrument, but these are the controls they describe - "a five-way toggle switch, 1 Volume and 1 Tone control, a neck pickup blend knob..."
